BFI FILM ACADEMY

Starting in October 2024, I participated in a BFI Film Academy course. This course is regarded as 'a well-respected and recognised stepping stone towards further education, training and employment.'

As a student within this course, I collaborated with likeminded students to create a documentary short film, and also took part in a combination of workshops, developing practical skills and knowledge.

​

During this course, I had the opportunity to complete a Silver Arts Award.  A silver Arts Award is a Level 2 qualification that is split into two units: Unit 1: Arts practice and pathways and Unit 2: Arts leadership. The first unit was complete by the end of the week, and the second unit required me to complete another project throughout the month of November.
