UNIT 1

Unit 1 was split into four parts - Part A: plan an Arts Challenge, Part B: Undertake an Arts Challenge, Part C: Review arts events and Part D:Arts research. I was required to write in a google document, which was graded as part of the silver award. 'Reflecting on Part A / Unit 1 of the arts challenge, I have been able to improve on my weak areas that I outlined in Part A, particularly with my understanding of zoom microphones and improving my ability to use them. To reflect on the challenge as a whole, it allowed me to improve my soft skills as well as specific skills relating to the equipment used and techniques implemented. I feel pride and a sense of achievement from completing this challenge, and I have made unforgettable memories and connections to like minded people. I have identified the ways in which my awareness within filmmaking has improved, such as my ability to adapt to changing situations while filming and further understanding the editing process. Additionally, researching further education opportunities has widened my awareness as to what my next step into the industry may look like. Ultimately, this experience has educated me with a bank of knowledge to create high quality projects in the future.'
